The Company places great importance on responsible and efficient waste management as part of its commitment to environmental stewardship. We strive to reduce waste generated from business operations, promote waste segregation, and maximize the reuse and recycling of materials.
The Company also supports the proper management of electronic waste (e-Waste) to minimize environmental impacts and ensure the responsible use of resources. Through these efforts, we aim to advance resource efficiency and support the principles of the Circular Economy, contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.
Targets and Performance
The Company is committed to enhancing waste management efficiency by focusing on waste segregation, recycling, and resource recovery. Our objective is to reduce the volume of waste requiring disposal while supporting the transition toward a Circular Economy.
In 2025, the Company generated 34,427.12 kilograms of non-hazardous waste. Of this amount, 3,250.80 kilograms were diverted from disposal and reintroduced into the recycling process through the sale of recyclable waste materials. This initiative contributed to improved resource utilization and helped reduce the environmental impacts associated with waste disposal.
Electronic Waste Management (E-Waste Management)
The Company promotes responsible electronic waste management through its collaboration with AIS to install e-Waste collection points at the Company’s branch locations. This initiative supports the proper collection, segregation, and recycling of electronic waste, ensuring that valuable materials are recovered and reintroduced into the recycling process in an environmentally responsible manner.
The project enhances public access to proper e-Waste disposal channels, helps reduce environmental impacts associated with electronic waste, and supports resource efficiency in line with the principles of the Circular Economy. This initiative forms part of the Company’s commitment to sustainable business practices and long-term environmental stewardship.
